Business Director – APAC
Chris Lawrence
Chris Lawrence is an experienced marine and offshore professional with over 30 years of expertise across naval operations, commercial shipping, offshore marine projects, shipyard management, and international recruitment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management and a Diploma in Nautical Studies.
He began his career with the Republic of Singapore Navy, before spending five years sailing on bulk carriers with Pacific Carriers. Chris then spent 10 years with Keppel Offshore & Marine, where he held a range of operational and managerial roles. Later, he worked as Marine Manager for a rigging, mooring, technical sales, and load testing company, before joining POSH Semco, POSH Terasea, and Semco Salvage as Operations Manager; overseeing complex offshore projects including long ocean tows, rig moves, mooring installations, and salvage support operations.
Most recently, Chris spent six and a half years with a talent acquisition organisation overseeing operations across Singapore and Indonesia. He specialised in recruitment for the marine, offshore energy, subsea, FPSO conversion, salvage, renewables, ROV, and offshore sectors, while also establishing and expanding the Permanent Placement desk across APAC, Oceania, and Europe.

En Cheng Leong
En Cheng Leong is a maritime and recruitment professional with experience spanning ship management, offshore crewing, and specialist recruitment services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Diploma in Maritime Business.
He began his career with an internship at Thome Ship Management before moving into a Crewing Executive role with POSH Fleet Services and PACC Ship Managers, where he managed international crew operations across both offshore and conventional fleets.
En Cheng later transitioned into recruitment, spending three years with an agency specialising in permanent placement and project-based manpower solutions. His remit included commercial, operations, shipping, and project-related roles within the maritime and offshore sectors.
