We’re pleased to announce the official launch of our new subsidiary, Intermarine Canada Limited, incorporated on 18 July 2025.
Based in Toronto, Intermarine Canada marks a key step in our international growth strategy. It allows us to establish a dedicated presence in North America, supporting Canada’s evolving shipbuilding and critical infrastructure sectors with the same high standards and technical expertise that define our operations in the UK and globally.
Why Canada?
Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) and long-term investment in defence and infrastructure programmes are creating significant demand for skilled labour and specialist project support. As a group, we’ve built a reputation for delivering workforce and project solutions to large-scale marine, energy, and defence initiatives across the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Expanding into Canada gives us the ability to:
- Deliver workforce solutions directly to Canadian clients with local operational support
- Respond quickly to project needs across provinces and time zones
- Offer the same integrated approach to contract and permanent staffing, marine services, and project delivery
